This tour combines the chance to see Cheetahs, Giraffe, Zebra, Ostrich, Eland, Bus Pig, Lions, Hippos, Crocodiles and many more. You can view some of the best wildlife and sightseeing into a short time.
Day 1 Arrival
A representative from Big Cat Tours and Travel will pick you from the airport and take you to your hotel.
Have dinner and rest as you prepare for the following day.

Day 2 Travel to Kitugum
Have early breakfast and prepare to start your journey to Kitugum. You will drive through Luwero triangle then Masindi where you will have quick lunch and proceed to Kitugum town. Check in for dinner and over night at Bomah hotel.
Day 3 Transfer to Kidepo NP (game drive)
In the morning, you get up for an early breakfast and head to Kidepo NP. You reach at lunch time then later go for a game drive. Drive through the Narus valley for sightings of Cheetahs, Buffaloes, Zebras, Giraffes, Elephants and some birds.

Day 4 Game drive, nature walk
Wake up to an early with great views of wilderness around you. Set out for a game drive to Kanangorok hot springs for more wildlife viewing. Expect to see lions on the rocky outcrops looking for prey.
Have packed lunch and later go on a guided nature walk through the park.
Return to the camp/ lodge for dinner and overnight.

Day 5 Travel from Kidepo NP to Murchison NP
Have an early breakfast and set off to Murchison national park. Lunch en-route and then proceed to the park. Check in at Murchison River lodge for mid range or Redchill rest camp for budget accommodation.
Set out for an evening game drive in the park to view game like lions, hyenas.
Return to your lodge for dinner and overnight.

Day 6 Game drive and boat tour
Wake up to an early breakfast , then set off for a morning drive on the major game trails of the northern side of the Nile where you may get the chance to view nocturnal and some hunters like Lions , Leopards and more animals like Buffaloes, Elephants and many bird species like Giant Kingfisher, Yellow Billed Stork, Goliath Heron.Return to the lodge for lunch and later set off for an afternoon boat tour along the Nile to the Murchison falls. Expect to see hippos, crocodiles, buffaloes and some birds.
Return to the lodge for dinner and overnight.

Day 7 Return to Entebbe
After breakfast you set off for Entebbe, lunch en-route. You will be driven to the airport depending on your departure time.

Having a constant driver with the vehicle, the risks of theft are virtually nil – just carry all your belongings in the hotel rooms (which are very safe) with you for the night.
Please bring:
- Binoculars
- Possibly also spotting scope
- Camera (enjoy the beautiful light after the rainy season in Uganda) according to your wishes, any camera of any size of zoom for animals and large birds that are often seen near.
- Your travel documents: passport, visa, certification of vaccination, insurance etc
- Your personal medication
- Lightweight and comfortable clothing, sandals or flip flops to stay in the car or on the boat and walking shoes for the forest. Long-sleeved shirts are more reassuring to forest areas.
- Provide a sweater for mornings which can be cold.
The bookings with the hotels mentioned in the program depend on availability. Reservations will only be made after your booking.
Note; In case the mentioned hotels are not available during the requested period, we will make sure to book a hotel in the same class for you. We do this after consulting you. It is not possible to ‘reserve’ gorilla and chimpanzee permits. Therefore we can only buy them after your booking and down-payment. This also here it all depends on availability.
