Day 1: Arrival, Entebbe Airport to Entebbe town
Arrive at Entebbe international airport. Big cat Tour and Travel representative or your guide will drive you to Sunset Motel in Entebbe town, check in for the night. According to arrival time, some birding around will be possible, Entebbe is good for birds and hold amazing species such Bat Hawk and turacos.
Day 2: Entebbe to Lake Mburo National Park
This day we leave Entebbe very early for Lake Mburo National park. There is extensive flora and fauna. Expect to see the Zebra.

Day 3: Lake Mburo to Queen Elizabeth National park
After breakfast, we go for a game drive in Lake Mburo National Park. Big animals like Impalas, Buffalos, and birds like Nubian Woodpecker, Turaco, Papyrus Gonolek can be seen. Have packed lunch or lunch in Mbarara, then we proceed to Queen Elizabeth National park.

Day 4: Game drive and boat tour in Queen Elizabeth National park
Game drive in Queen Elizabeth National park, you will see animals like the Lions, Buffaloes, Warthogs, Water bucks. Meeting game is always a stunning experience.
Have lunch then go for a boat cruise on the Kazinga channel that connects Lake George and Edward looking for water birds and animals. This channel harbors many bird species like Green Backed Heron, African Spoonbill, water think knee, marsh, green, wood and common Sandpipers, Gray Headed Gull, Plain Martin lesser Swamp-Warbler, White Pelican, animals like the Hippos, Crocodiles.

Day 5: Chimps (Queen Elizabeth National Park)
We take a nature walk tracking chimpanzees in the morning at the gorge in the park. Expect to see some birds like Black headed Gonolek, Blue spotted Wood dove, Grey backed Fiscal, Yellow Wagtail and so much more. Lunch picnic in the park then set off to Entebbe, over night at Sunset Motel.
Day 6: Flight
Your departure will be according to the time of your flight. You will be driven to the airport in time.

In general, note that the level of security at the accommodation is excellent in all respects (diseases, accidents with animals and travelers with petty crime are very rare).
Having a constant driver with the vehicle, the risks of theft are virtually nil – just carry all your belongings in the hotel rooms (which are very safe) with you for the night.
Please bring:
- Binoculars
- Possibly also spotting scope
- Camera (enjoy the beautiful light after the rainy season in Uganda) according to your wishes, any camera of any size of zoom for animals and large birds that are often seen near.
- Your travel documents: passport, visa, certification of vaccination, insurance etc
- Your personal medication
- Lightweight and comfortable clothing, sandals or flip flops to stay in the car or on the boat and walking shoes for the forest. Long-sleeved shirts are more reassuring to forest areas.
- Provide a sweater for mornings which can be cold.
The bookings with the hotels mentioned in the program depend on availability. Reservations will only be made after your booking.
Note; In case the mentioned hotels are not available during the requested period, we will make sure to book a hotel in the same class for you. We do this after consulting you. It is not possible to ‘reserve’ gorilla and chimpanzee permits. Therefore we can only buy them after your booking and down-payment. This also here it all depends on availability.
